You Better Watch Out, You Better Not... DOH!

We wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Seattle!  It's been awhile since we were able to update the blog, but we've been busy!!  Between a new baby, fall colds, work, and deciding to move back to Texas, there just hasn't been time.  As a result, this is a rather LARGE update with lots of pictures!!  It didn't come close to fitting on one page, so be sure to click on the link to "Older Posts."  Enjoy the holidays!

Not sure he's going to be able to live this down ;)

Cute picture!

Fall in Seattle...

Dad's least favorite job in the fall is picking up all the leaves in the backyard.  The first couple years it wasn't so bad since the trees were relatively small.  Each year, however, it gets a bit worse.  Luckily Dad had a helper so it wasn't bad at all!  Here are some pictures picking up leaves and walking around the neighborhood in the fall.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

Thanksgiving week in Seattle was a cold one!!  We had a couple of days of snow for the first time in two years!  And in traditional Seattle fashion, the city pretty much shut down... except the hospitals of course.  Joshua and Alyssa had a chance to checkout the snow in the backyard.  Here are a few pictures...

What's this stuff?

It's everywhere!

Little bit of trauma putting on the yellow jacket...

Alyssa's first snow!

Maybe Alyssa's last snow?

Making tracks in the snow...

More snow and less tears in the afternoon!

It keeps coming down!

Think I'll go check on the tree...

Yep, there's the tree...

It's still there...

Don't think it's going anywhere...

Joshua hanging out in the snow...

Popsicle Dad after his bike ride home in the snow!  Sure it was cold, but turned out to be MUCH quicker than a car!

Grandma and Grandpa Meet Alyssa...

Grandma and Grandpa made the trek north to Seattle to meet Alyssa a couple weeks after she was born.  During that visit Joshua assigned them new names... Ga-Ga and Pa-Pa.  And that is how they will now forever be known!

New Computer!

As those of you who Skype with us already know, Joshua loves to play with our computers.  So we decided to give him his own computer for his birthday.  Here are a couple pictures of him playing with his new computer.  We're a little worried he won't have the dexterity and fine motor skills to learn how to type...

Birthday Party in the Park...

We took Joshua to the park to celebrate his birthday.  Heather made some cupcakes and we had our own little party.  Here are some of the pictures!

Gook lookin' cupcakes, Mom!

Morning before the party...

Ready to go!

Sweet party!

Alyssa had a nice time, too...

Playing ball... lots of ball...

Think it was a little cold out there?!

Happy Birthday, dear Joshua...

Make a wish!

Mmmmmm... good work, Mom!

Milk and cupcakes... what more could you ask for?

What a great birthday!

Here are a few pictures from our local park on a warmer fall day around Joshua's birthday...
