Joshua's Baptism!

Joshua's baptism was a couple of weeks ago. He was baptized with two older boys, and - much to our surprise - Joshua was the best behaved!! We were lucky enough to have his godparents Mike and Maria fly out for the occasion! Also in attendance was the Meyers' family and Brian Emerson! The priest's name was Father John. The ceremony was very nice. We were fortunate enough to have Brian volunteer and do an outstanding job with the pictures... and that was despite the handicap of not being able to use the flash during the ceremony! Thanks Brian! We also wanted to thank everyone for all the beautiful gifts!!

Check-out the cute white baptism outfit!

Ready to go!

Joshua and his godmother, Maria!

The baptismal candle has been lit!

Mom, Dad, and Joshua...

The church is just up the street from this lookout point, so we swung by...

Thanks for all the great photos, Brian!!

Wow!! Great shot of Mount Ranier!

And now we celebrate! If anyone wants some ice cream cake, stop by... please!!

Happy Easter!

Joshua had a great first Easter! We dyed some eggs and even had a hunt... that is Joshua had to hunt for the eggs when he dropped them off his chair! We wanted to thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts... especially the candy!!!

Well done, sir!

I can do it too, honest!

The eyes still match... whew!

All my other features still match... whew!

Anybody for some feet and eggs?

Mine!

Are you kidding?! They're in the grass right next to me? That Easter bunny needs some practice!

Looks like I found all of them! Joshua 1, Easter bunny 0.

Whoops! The basket spilled!

Tulip Festival!

It may rain a lot, but it sure is beautiful when the sun comes out! This festival takes place every year in Mount Vernon, Washington which is about an hour north of Seattle. We went for the day and took a picnic. Fortunately, we lucked out and got some nice weather. We took a few pictures while we were there. We also posted a bunch of "Spring in the Northwest" pictures in a slideshow that can be seen in the right-hand column if you're interested!

More than just tulips - here's a field of daffodils...

Here are the tulips!

That flower may have lost a petal... shhh!

One of these things is not like the other...

Red and pink tulips for Mom!

The boys!

They're just irresistable!!

Family picture!

For those in the desert... you just put these in the ground and they grow! Amazing!

Pink tulips for Dad too??

Seems a bit like swimming... except the water's yellow and it's warm!

First family picnic!

It really was a LOT of flowers to look at...

Joshua's Nursery!!

It's been a long time coming, but Joshua's nursery is finally complete!! Turns out it takes a bit of doing to relocate the guest bedroom to the study while still keeping the study as a functional study! But we're all done now and it was definitely worth it! Here are some pictures from the new nursery...

And in the first corner...

And in the second corner...

We put that Pooh puzzle together while Heather was still pregnant...

Those are some good lookin' shelves!

So that's where he's learning to make those faces...

Leftovers!

These didn't fit into any specific category... but how could we leave them out?! Enjoy!

Staying warm... how cute!

We have a backyard?!

Tickles and laughs...

Droopy dog?

I think I'm going to like that sun!

Good ole' Mom!
