Better Late than Never!!

This is the first of several posts for the month of June.  As you can see, I'm a bit behind on my blogging as we're already in August!  I would have to argue that I have a legitimate excuse... turns out moving a family of four from Seattle to Texas is quite an undertaking!!  Well we're finally reaching a point where I have some free time at night to catch up on things.  For this first post, I included a few pictures I took of the Seattle skyline at sunrise on one particularly clear morning shortly before we left.  Be sure to check out the older posts link at the bottom of this first page to make sure you don't miss anything from June!

Grits Pie in the Backyard!

Heather recently picked up this Southern dessert in honor of the upcoming move to Texas.  Despite its name, it's quite good!  Here are some photos of us enjoying our grits pie in the backyard...

Alyssa's First Major League Baseball Game!

One of my birthday/Father's Day gifts was tickets to a Mariners Game!  The weather was beautiful and the Mariners beat the San Diego Padres!  Take that Uncle Mike!!  Here are some pictures from Alyssa's first ballgame...

Following the game, the Mariners opened up the field to kids.  We all headed down and Joshua and I had the opportunity to run the bases!!  It was awesome!!  Here are some photos of Joshua at the game!

Anesthesia Party Near the Space Needle

Heather's work friends threw her a going away party over the 4th of July weekend.  In order to get there, Joshua and I had to walk through the park near the Space Needle.  We took a moment to snap a few pictures and here they are!!
