Uncle Mike Comes to Belton!

Everyone loves it when Uncle Mike visits Belton!

Working on some puzzles!

Everyone is having a good time!

Uncle Mike and Alyssa!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all those mother's out there!  My whole family got together at Grandma's house to celebrate!  Here are some pictures from the event...

Hmmm... one of these things is not like the others...

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Smiles for Mother's Day!

Mom sure is lucky!

Looks like Mom likes her new gift!!!

Hugs from Alyssa!

Congratulations Aunt Liz and Uncle Andrew!

Introducing Madison Brook Taylor!  We journeyed over to Killeen to see her for ourselves a couple weeks ago.  She's a beautiful baby with a full head of hair!!

The gang!

Run Faster Uncle Andy!

Uncle Andy and Jenn came up from Austin to take part in the first annual Army Marathon!  And what's better than running 26.2 miles?  That would be running 26.2 miles while being taunted by your niece and nephew!  Here are some pictures of Joshua, Alyssa, and Emily showing their support!

Making signs for the big race!

Showing our "support!"

Here comes Uncle Andy!

Run Faster Uncle Andy!

I looked back at the camera and the time lapse between each of these action shots is 10 seconds... just kidding Uncle Andy!

Yeah Uncle Andy!

Watch where you're going!

Good form, buddy!

Looks like it's going to take a bit more to impress this one...

She's yawning here... about to fall asleep...

To the victor goes the spoils!

A few poses to choose from!

And here's Aunt Jenn!

Great racing, guys!

And nothing like a little Sequence with Grandma to relax a little later in the day...

Looks like the game of Sequence was more interesting than the marathon... maybe she's going to be an "indoor girl"

Happy Birthday, Uncle Andy!

Uncle Andy celebrated his 31st birthday in Belton, Texas style!

That's a nice balloon!

Uncle Andy blowing out the birthday candles on his birthday pie!

Great job, Uncle Andy!!

And now it's pie time!!

Emily's Not-So-New Crib!

Emily is slowly making the transition from our room to her own.  In order to do that, she needed a crib.  In order for her to have a crib, Alyssa had to transition to her big girl bed.  I can't say it's been a smooth transition, but things are going reasonably well.  Here are a couple pictures of everyone reliving some fond memories in the hand-me-down crib!

Batter Up!

Well it turns out that big tree coming up through the deck is good for something other than dropping leaves and pollen on the deck!  Here are some shots of The Naturals doing their thing and then taking a hard earned popsicle break!

Not a perfect system to begin with... but now we've worked out the kinks...

Ready... Set... Solids!!!

Emily turned 6 months old last month.  And as we all know, with six months of age comes a great milestone... eating solids!  As with Joshua and Alyssa, Emily's first taste of solid food was none other than sweet potatoes!  Yum, yum!

First bite!  Very exciting!

Open wide!

Taking it all in...

Not sure what to think...

She likes it!!!

This is great!

Watch out world!

She's quick with the spoon!

Mmmmmm...

Good eatin', Emily!

High five!

And the crowd goes wild!

Ready for the day after a delicious breakfast!
