Introducing... Emily Grace Naumann!!

Weighing in at 7 pounds 2 ounces with a height of 20 inches... Emily Grace was born at 1211 Central Daylight Time on the afternoon of October 15, 2012!  Mom had to be induced but in stark contrast to Joshua's 21 hour labor of love this only lasted about 5 1/2 hours!  Mom and baby are doing great!!  Here are some photos from Emily's debut!

Ahhhh... The Epidural!

Things are moving along well.  Turns out her body remembers what it's supposed to be doing!  The anesthesiologist just came in and placed the epidural.  Heather's feeling much more at ease now.  The next step is to break the water!  Here are some before and after pictures.

Getting ready for the epidural... I don't know... looks pretty comfortable to me...

Nevermind... where's that anesthesiologist?

Post epidural... life is good!  I've been forgiven ;)

Lookin' good!

Getting close!

Labor & Delivery!

Well New Baby, your day has come!  We arrived at Labor & Delivery this morning around 5:30 AM.  The IV is in and the pitocin is flowing!  Things are getting started at 3 cm and 25% effaced.  Let's hope that uterus learned something those first two times around!

The old pro... the seasoned veteran!

40 Weeks and Counting!!

Well the due date has come and gone!  Looks like this baby is going to have a stubborn streak!  Here's a belly shot taken on Friday, October 12th.  The induction is scheduled for Monday, October 15th.  Watch out New Baby... your days are numbered!

Pumpkin Patch!

Here's the September blog update!  It's about a week early, but who knows... it may be a busy week!  And we may have more to blog about before the week is done... we'll see!

It's getting to be that time of year again... FALL!!  So we loaded up the car and made our annual outing to the local pumpkin patch!  We had a great time with all the animals and playing in the hay!  Here are some of the pictures...

Happy Halloween!

Halloween hugs...

Petting zoo!

Llama or alpaca?

Alyssa admiring the animals...

Good job, Joshua!

Nice work, Alyssa!

She likes the petting zoo...

Look at the beard on that goat!

Good job feeding the goat, Mom!

With that smile you'd think something in the petting zoo didn't smell too good!

Very sweet...

Alyssa trying to suffocate the lamb...

And then trying to pull off its ears...

Alyssa posing by the flowers...

This is what she and I did while Joshua played in the jumping castle.

Turns out Alyssa is too tiny to jump with the big kids...

But we ended up having a nice time taking pictures in front of the flowers!

Mom, Alyssa, and a scarecrow...

No treat, huh?!

Baby pumpkins!

Two pumpkins for Joshua...

Good work, buddy!

One of Alyssa's pumpkins...

Looks fun in the wagon!

Going for a ride!

Faster please!

And that's about when they asked us to remove the kids and put the wagon back...

Hay is for... Alyssa!

Looks soft!  Turns out it's kind of sharp when it gets in your clothes...

One, two, three... slide!

I love the pumpkin patch!
