Tulip Festival!

It may rain a lot, but it sure is beautiful when the sun comes out! This festival takes place every year in Mount Vernon, Washington which is about an hour north of Seattle. We went for the day and took a picnic. Fortunately, we lucked out and got some nice weather. We took a few pictures while we were there. We also posted a bunch of "Spring in the Northwest" pictures in a slideshow that can be seen in the right-hand column if you're interested!

More than just tulips - here's a field of daffodils...

Here are the tulips!

That flower may have lost a petal... shhh!

One of these things is not like the other...

Red and pink tulips for Mom!

The boys!

They're just irresistable!!

Family picture!

For those in the desert... you just put these in the ground and they grow! Amazing!

Pink tulips for Dad too??

Seems a bit like swimming... except the water's yellow and it's warm!

First family picnic!

It really was a LOT of flowers to look at...
