Uncle Zak and Teeth!

Uncle Zak came out to meet Joshua a few weeks ago. That was around the time that the first two teeth came in! Now we're getting ready for the top two... they're almost breaking through!

Joshua and Uncle Zak!

If you look real close you can see those bottom teeth sticking up.

This one's a bit more obvious!

Picnics in the Park!

Now that the weather is finally improving we've been spending more time down the street at the park. Here are some pictures from one of the trips when Grandma and Grandpa were in town!

I love the hat!

No sun is gettin' in these eyes!

Still haven't got the hang of that standing thing... but the crawling is coming along nicely!

We met a nice puppy!

Look at everything those other kids can do!

Gotta love the park!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mom woke up to a few gifts and a delicious breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and fruit salad! Joshua and I thought it was very well-deserved! Great job Mom!

Happy Half Birthday!

We've made it six months!! These are a few pictures from May 6, 2009!

Hooray! Solid Food!

Josh finally reached the six-month milestone in May! And with that accomplishment comes a whole new world of foods. These are some pictures from the very beginning. Fortunately, after a month of hard work he seems to have the hang of it! He definitely favors fruits and sweet foods over those nasty vegetables. Turns out he's also a bit of a drama king when he doesn't like the food... gagging, coughing, and scrunched up faces. Wonder where he gets that?

Joshua's Baptism!

Joshua's baptism was a couple of weeks ago. He was baptized with two older boys, and - much to our surprise - Joshua was the best behaved!! We were lucky enough to have his godparents Mike and Maria fly out for the occasion! Also in attendance was the Meyers' family and Brian Emerson! The priest's name was Father John. The ceremony was very nice. We were fortunate enough to have Brian volunteer and do an outstanding job with the pictures... and that was despite the handicap of not being able to use the flash during the ceremony! Thanks Brian! We also wanted to thank everyone for all the beautiful gifts!!

Check-out the cute white baptism outfit!

Ready to go!

The church is just up the street from this lookout point, so we swung by...

Thanks for all the great photos, Brian!!

Wow!! Great shot of Mount Ranier!

And now we celebrate! If anyone wants some ice cream cake, stop by... please!!
