Christmas in Texas!

We just returned from our two week whirlwind vacation! We spent time in Houston and Tucson so Joshua could see all of his family. Needless to say, he made quite a haul! Here are some photos from Christmas with Aunt Amanda, Uncle Aaron, and the Sommerfields.

Eagerly awaiting a gift from Aunt Amanda and Uncle Aaron!

New bathtime toys!!

Joshua had an opportunity to meet plenty of puppies this trip! He likes to pet them on the nose... turns out most dogs don't wait around when they see a 1-year-old panting like a dog and coming at their face with an open hand!

Don't Feed the Bears!

Here's what happens when Winnie and Eeyore are left in charge for the afternoon!

PEPS Christmas Party!

We hosted the PEPS Christmas Party this year! All of Joshua's friends came over to celebrate. There was food, drinks, and a Secret Santa gift exchange! Here are some pictures of Joshua and his buddies!

Santa Claus Is Coming to Town... Run and Hide!!!

We took Joshua to see Santa Claus last week. What a difference a year makes... judge for yourself, but if you ask me, Santa really let himself go ;)

The Stockings Were Hung by the Chimney with Care...

We hung up all the Christmas decorations a few weeks ago. We decided to put a miniature tree on the mantle instead of a full-size tree. Turns out that was a good decision after Joshua spent most of a Christmas party trying to dismantle the host's tree!! Here are a few pictures around the house and in Christmas clothes!

December Freeze!

Instead of our usual winter rain we actually had several sunny days over the past couple of weeks!! In exchange for the sun, however, we had to endure some really cold weather! We were below freezing for about four days in a row! Anyway, we used the opportunity to take a few pictures in front of the Olympic Mountain Range...

Party Pick-Up!

We left the balloons up for a week before deciding it was time to take them down. Turns out taking them down was more fun than putting them up!
