The Tulip Festival!!

How could we leave Seattle without our annual visit to the Skagit County Tulip Festival?!!  We loaded up the car and headed north one sunny Saturday morning!  This was Alyssa's first trip to see the tulips and since it was going to be our last (at least for the foreseeable future), we made sure to take lots of pictures!

Joshua running around like a madman... that's what a 60 minute ride in the car will do to a 2 year old!  There are lots of photos like this!

Pretty flowers!

More running!

Pretty landscape!

Special effects!

Cool landscape photo!

Big brother and little sister... tough to get a good pose!

Little easier to get good pictures when there's only one!

Here are several really cute pictures of Joshua with a ladybug crawling on his hand!!

Thanks Tulip Festival!

Whistle Stop Park Take Two and Uncle Andy!

Joshua had such a great time at Whistle Stop Park he couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the week.  Here are some pictures from our second trip.  There's also a picture of Alyssa with Uncle Andy when we went to visit him in Austin!

Lake Belton!

One of the best parts of living in Temple is Lake Belton.  We decided to check it out one morning.  Here are the photos...

Where did Joshua go?

There he is!!

Anyone for a swim?

Ahhh... look at all these rocks that need throwing in the lake!

I'm telling you, hours of fun!!  Here's the windup...

And the follow-through...

Now, what should I do with this rock?

Pretty baby in a pretty bonnet!

The New House!!

The main reason for heading down to Texas last month was to find a house... and in only a few days the mission was accomplished!!  We have signed a lease for a 4-bedroom rental house in Belton, Texas.  A picture of the front of the house is shown below.  If you are interested, you can click on the picture below to see additional photos that have been uploaded to Picasa Web Albums.

Whistle Stop Park!

We recently packed our bags and headed south for some sunshine and relaxation!  Here are some photos from a get-together we had with family and friends at Whistle Stop Park in Temple, Texas!!

The trains pretty much made Joshua's trip!

Any guess what Joshua was saying here?

Hopefully the only time he'll be watching things happen through bars!

Here comes the choo-choo!

Bye-bye!!
