Texas Blue Bonnets!

Move over, Tulip Festival!  Time to make room for the Texas Blue Bonnets!

Family photo!

Look at all the blue bonnets!

That's right, they do take children away and lock them up forever if they so much as pick one little blue bonnet... now smile!

Spring smiles!

Don't get lost in there!

Just a little spring walk...

Hi Alyssa!

Lookin' good, Alyssa!

Where's Joshua?!

You guys better not be picking flowers in there... remember what Mama said!!

What a pretty girl!

You can run, but you can't hide!

Alyssa and Joshua!

Easter Brunch at Wildflower!

We joined the local country club in Temple because it seemed like a good way for Alyssa and Joshua to get out there and meet some new people.  Here are some pictures from the Easter weekend brunch.  We're really looking forward to swimming in the pool this summer!

Happy Easter!

Smiles for the Easter Bunny!

What a pretty Easter dress!

Little blurry, but hard to pass up!

Easter hugs...

Or perhaps an Easter miracle...

You said something about 2500 Easter eggs?!

Hmmm... seems like 2500 Easter eggs would be easier to find...

A quick break from the action... Easter photo of Alyssa, Mom, and Joshua!

Here's one of Mom and Alyssa!

Ahhh... now that's more like it!

On your marks, get set, GO!

Good work!

Off to a good start!

No time for eating right now...

This is getting a bit heavy...

Lookin' good, buddy!

It's more fun to open them than to actually see what's inside...

The spoils...

Great job, Alyssa!

Teamwork!

Mike and Maria Visit Belton!

A few weeks ago Uncle Mike and Aunt Maria made the long drive north to check out Belton, Texas for themselves.  We were happy to see them again!  Here are a few pictures from their visit...

Joshua with his godparents...

Lookin' for crawdads down by the river...

No crawdads, but plenty of rocks to throw!

Even scared away a few ducks!

Alyssa and Dad...

Mike and Maria at Deadfish...

Beautiful view from the deck at Deadfish...

Looks awful nice!!

Biblical Floods...

Well we got a little rain one day... and the drought was over!!  Here are some pictures from our local lake the next day...

How about a picnic at one of those tables... in the water!!

Playing in the grass...

Joshua, are those swim trunks?!

This is great!!

That tree should be set for the summer...

Choo-Choo Park!

Look what we found at the Choo-Choo Park... an old Choo-Choo!  We explored one morning and then enjoyed a picnic lunch with a bird... not a bad morning!

All aboard!

How did we miss this all those other times we were at the Choo-Choo Park?!

Playing on the platform...

More trains over there!

A gazebo!

That's a long platform!

Off to the big city!

What a beautiful day!

That's a big Choo-Choo!!

Just swingin'...

A real Choo-Choo at the park!

Mmmmm...

And there's the picnic bird...

Play-Doh!

We broke out the Play-Doh one afternoon... what a hit!!
