Happy Mothers Day!!

Joshua and I wanted to say thanks to all those great mothers out there for everything that you do! We are both fortunate enough to have a couple of outstanding mothers (and grandmothers). And, although we didn't ask her, we are positive that Joshua's mom would feel the same. Here are a few pictures from the past year to pay tribute to our moms. We hope you all have a well-deserved great day!

Soccer!

Heather decided to risk it all and leave Joshua with his Dad a few weeks ago while she went to San Antonio for a conference. Turns out no one really thought that was a good idea, so Grandma came out to help take care of Joshua. Here are some pictures and a movie from a couple of trips to the park. Joshua had a great time playing soccer and sliding! If you watch closely, you will see why Joshua may think twice before playing soccer with Grandma again ;)

Tulip Festival!

We piled into the car a few weeks ago and headed north for what has become our annual trip to the Tulip Festival! The weather was beautiful and we saw some impressive flowers! We met up with our friends Jason, Jen, and Gabby and had a great time!! Here are some of the pictures...

What a beautiful day!

That black thing by my feet is what? A shadow? What's a shadow?

Tickle torture!

Joshua and Gabby...

Good lookin' flowers and a good lookin' baby!

We're learning the difference between "soft/gentle" and "hard." Seems like we might be getting through as nary a flower was harmed in the shooting of these pictures!

Joshua and Mom!

Profile shot...

Nothing quite like playing in the mud...

This is about as close as we could get Joshua and Gabby...

That looks like one good peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Thanks for bringing me to the Tulip Festival!

It was all fun and games until they wanted to be in a picture with me!

Much better! Just needed a little freedom!

Joshua presenting his forehead for a kiss...

Tuckered out!

But not too tired for some ice cream!

Some Tulips from the Tulip Festival...

We did take a few pictures of tulips while we were at the Tulip Festival. Here they are!
