A picture of what is hopefully our last big home improvement project at the rental house.  We spent the morning pulling up weeks and dead roots from the flower bed here.  As you can see, the lattice needs a little bit of repair work as well.  Once the woodwork is finished, our plan is to plant some jasmine there.  We'll let you know how it goes!

New Backyard Playhouse!

Alyssa and Joshua received an early birthday present this year!  Mom and Dad put together a new playhouse in the backyard!  It only took twice as long as expected and Dad only had to take it apart and put it back together three times.  Leave it to "Home Improvement Chris" for a job done!  Needless to say, Alyssa and Joshua can't get enough of their new toy.  Here are some pictures of Joshua playing on it for the first time...

Indian Summer...

Well here it is in October and we're just wrapping up the swimming season!  Temperatures have finally fallen to the 90s and 80s.  Here are a few pictures of Alyssa in the pool one last time...

Swimming in September!

First Day of School!

Joshua started preschool this past month.  He goes twice a week for a few hours each day.  He's liking it a lot and not always wanting to go home with Mom and Alyssa when they pick him up!  Here are some pictures from open house and his first day!
