Wading at the Park!

It was good to see Grandma and Grandpa last month! Here are some pictures from a trip to the park to cool off in the wading pool one hot August day...

Playing ball with Grandpa...

Put the camera down, Dad!!

My ball!

Off to the races!

PLEASE play ball with me!!

Joshua and Mom playing a fun game of "Mom! Go get my ball!" Looks like it's one of Mom's favorites!

Who's that skinny boy? What happened to all that baby fat?!

Anyone for some catch?

Looks kind of deep for a wading pool!

Graceful...

Ready to catch!

I can do more than hold the ball... check out some of my moves!

Push-ups for bad behavior? Valuable lesson: Don't mess with The Mama!

The Ladies' Man...

Like I said, The Ladies' Man...

Smirks...

A few more of those moves...

Cute profile!

Baywatch impression...

Backrubs for Grandma!

Here are a few clips of Joshua at the wading pool. Check out Grandma taking those BIG steps ;)

Yummy Popsicles!!

Here are a few pictures of Joshua enjoying a popsicle! This was a new treat for him this summer!

A Weekend at the Beach on the Olympic Penninsula!

We recently spent a weekend in a beach house on the Olympic Penninsula. We were joined by Mimi, Aunt Sharon, and Uncle Thomas partway through the weekend. Here are a few pictures from the first day shortly after we arrived.

A beautiful beach and some beautiful weather! Unfortunately as far as the weather was concerned, this turned out to be best day!

The beach!

We had to walk about 1/4 mile through the forest before we reached the beach. Turned out it was a HUGE beach... seemed like another 1/4 mile to reach the water!

I keep walking but never seem to reach the water! Are you sure that's not a mirage?!

Thanks for the help, Mom!

He found his second wind as we approached the water!

Sand!

A view of the woods where we came from...

Ahhhhh... we finally reached the water!

Morning on the Beach...

We headed out to the beach in the morning before everyone else arrived. The fog had settled in overnight, but it was still nice out and the fog made for some interesting "beach" pictures.

Mimi, Aunt Sharon, and Uncle Thomas Arrive!

Once everything was unloaded, we didn't waste much time before heading out to the beach! Here are a few of the pictures!!

Little bit of fog that day... but at least the sky was blue!

Another view of the tree-line from the beach...

If you squint, you can see Uncle Thomas heading out to the water...

The rest of the gang making their way out to the water...

That Joshua loves the waves and he has no fear!! He just took off for the water! He pretty much kept going until the wave was tall enough to knock him over. Luckily Dad was there to pick him up, at which point he was "all done!"

Coming back after getting knocked over by a wave...

Playing in the water...

Running with Dad on the beach...

New beach toys!

Mom and Joshua hanging out on the beach...

Little bit of snacks with a little bit of sand...

Going for a walk with Mom...

Checking out what Uncle Thomas is up to in the eerie fog...

Walking Around Seabrook...

We stayed in a new development on the Olympic Penninsula. There were multiple homes, parks, and some free bikes to use. Here are a few pictures of Joshua during one of our walks to explore the neighborhood...
