Planting Primroses...

We decided to take advantage of the good weather this weekend and plant some primroses for the backyard! Turned out not to be much of a chore with a little help!

Putting some soil in the pot...

Filling in the gaps with some extra soil...

Finishing touches...

A job well done!

The final product!

Another Beautiful Weekend!

After our Saturday morning swim at Children's Hospital we headed down the street to enjoy another sunny day at the park. Here are a few pictures in the sandbox and on a stroll around the park!

So many great toys in the sandbox!

Action shot!

After filling this pail with sand, Joshua insisted on lugging it around the sandbox. It was nearly too heavy for him to pickup, but if he really strained and grunted he could move it a few feet! Here's a shot of the face he was making... pretty funny!

Joshua and his best buddy Elmo!!

Dumping some sand on the Tonka truck...

Out on a stroll in the park...

Walking with Mom...

Keep up! I've got places to go and people to see!

Leading the way!

Wait a minute... is that the sandbox way over there?!

"Say it's a circle and that we'll end up back at the sandbox all you want! I know that if I follow this path I just walked on, I will end up back at that sandbox!"

"My mind's made up! No talking me out of it now!"
And so we retraced our steps and ended up at the same sandbox...

Playing in the dirt near a fence...

This weather is GREAT!

Greenwood Park in February...

Here are some pictures taken at our local park on the same sunny weekend!

So much sand and only one little pail...

No matter... I can do it!

Swinging with Mom...

Digging in the dirt...

Riding on some strange circle-thing with Mom! Look at that belly!

Running in the park!

Seattle... Saturday... Sunny... Sixty... February?!

Here are some pictures from the first warm, sunny weekend of the year! The real surprise is that we saw this in February! We've actually had a few sunny weekends since. Here are some pictures at the park!

Greenlake Park on the first sunny weekend of the year! We actually had to wait in line for the swings!

Worth the wait!

I'm thinking we'll be spending a lot of time at the park this year!

Slides!

Can anybody guess what walked by as Joshua was getting ready to slide?

The sandbox is our new favorite place to play...

Concentration...

No time to talk... I'm on a mission!

Random Indoor Pics...

Just about every picture posted with this update is outdoors walking around, gardening, or at the park. Here are a couple of random indoor pictures that didn't really fit anywhere else...

Toothy smiles!

Sure would be nice to have someone to play ball with!

Winter Walks...

We've been very fortunate this winter with relatively mild temperatures. The city of Seattle actually hasn't seen any snow this year! What's even more surprising is that Houston has seen snow! Because of the warmer weather we've been able to spend more time outdoors. Here are a few pictures from some walks in the stroller and with Josh's car...

Heading out in the stroller!

Ooooh! Mom and Dad have been letting me walk around the block on my own too!

Sometimes I'm a bit distracted when I walk on my own and I need a reminder to stay on task!

A terrible case of hat hair!

Watch out! Here I come!

This driving thing isn't so tough...

Dad's Beard: A Tribute...

For no good reason, all the GI fellows decided to grow out beards for the month of January. Being a GI fellow, I decided to take part despite the less than enthusiastic support I received from my family. Not surprisingly, very few pictures were taken to document the magnificent event. Fortunately I noticed that lapse the day I shaved off the beard. Below are several photos I took as I shaved off the beard in stages... some are a bit more creepy than others! Enjoy the pictures... and if you happen to like the beard, feel free to say so in the comments which I will be sure to share with Heather!!
